As a Prosthetic Limb Technician, you can find fulfilment using your technical skills to help people regain mobility. It's an extremely rewarding career.
You work directly with clinicians to manufacture limbs for patients and there are opportunities for extended scope to become Clinical Support Technicians or even apprenticeships to become a clinician yourself.
The transition from Dental Technician to Prosthetic Limb Technician is easy, thanks to many transferable skills. Both roles utilise similar processes and techniques.
But don’t take our word for it – here’s what some actual Dental Technicians who made the switch, have to say:
"Becoming a Prosthetic Limb Technician was an easy transition for me as a former Dental Technician. The skills definitely cross over, allowing me to quickly start my new career helping others." - Jay, Workshop Manager
"I love my job as a Prosthetic Technician! It combines hands-on technical work with creativity to make custom sockets for each patient. And it feels great knowing I'm improving lives every day." - Amy, Prosthetic Technician
We currently have openings in London, Cambridge, Bristol and Leeds, with opportunities often coming up across the UK.
